02. Tommy Petillo & Parkway - The Wind
This group lead singer Tommy Petillo
Born in Newark, New Jersey and at present living in Nutley, NJ for most of his life is the lead singer of the world famous Duprees in the late 70’s & returned to the group eight years ago. Today the Duprees are enjoying the best and most successful years in recent memory.
Tommy was also the lead singer of his own group Parkway for 20 years....

03. Perry & Sanlin - Just Like Magic
Two former members The Montclairs
who formed in 1969, Remember (named after a local brand of cigarettes?) The groups members were Phil Perry, David Frye, George McLellan, Kevin Sanlin and Clifford 'Scotty' Williams. In 1975 The Montclairs disbanded & in
1980 Phil Perry teamed with Richard Sanlin in a duo ".: Perry & Sanlin :." that had a short stay at Capitol Records. Their first single stalled at number 81 and the album fizzled.

04. Elements Of Love - Fade Away

A1. Fade Away (The Elements Of Love) (Vocal)
B1. Fade Away (The Elements Of Love)(Instrumental)
Executive Producer: Mary McCullough

On Matrix

05. Duprees - Didn't Want To Have To Do It
1966 on Columbia Records
I love this song, no matter who sings it!

10. Black Nasty - I Must Be In Love
Black Nasty took a very rock-minded approach to Detroit soul and funk -- probably too rock-minded for many program directors at black radio. And at the same time, Black Nasty was too funky and soul-oriented for FM rock radio. So Black Nasty fell through the cracks in the early to mid-'70s, Black Nasty had no problem turning around and providing silky, mellow slow jams such as "Rushin' Sea" and "I Must Be in Love,"

11. First Class - Coming Back To You
1977 on Platinum Records
This cut was produced by Silvia Robinson,George Kerr & Donnie Elbert.....

14. Val Mac-Kenna - Mixed Up Shook Up Girl
Piccadilly Records UK 1965
About a year after Patty & the Emblems Top 40 hit in 1964

18. Gaslight - Drifting Away No year
Grand Junction Label...This record has a kinda high pitching annoying sound in the background which I thought was becuz of the way the rip came out but upon my research I found it for sale on line with the sample & guess what? it's just the way it sounds :)

19. Dubs - If I Only Had Magic
ABC-Paramount 1961
Another one of my fav DW Groups
AKA The Marvels,The Vocaleers amoung others
Lead was the wonderful voice of the late Richard Blandon

21. Platypus - Appreciate Your Love
1980 Casablanca Records Disco Funk

23. Shades Of Brown - Little Girl
1970 Cadet Records
Chicago's Cadet Records
Not to be confused with Latino rappers Lighter Shade of Brown of course

Enjoy!
