MEMORIAL ALBUM - JOHNNY ACE

The very bright and very short career of rhythm and blues singer Johnny Ace came to a tragic end in 1954 on Christmas Day while playing a game of Russian roulette. At that time Johnny was building a heavy following in the African-American community and his popularity was growing daily. Ace's singing style made a great impact on the singers of his time and still influences many singers today.
