Barbara Lynn was born on January 16th, 1942. Barbara started out playing the piano as a child and later changed to guitar after being inspired by blues artists Magic Slim and Jimmy Reed. She put her 1st solo album out in 1962. Barbara appeared at both The Apollo and on American Bandstand during her career. The single "I'm A Good Woman" was sampled in 2002 by Moby.
