Sammy Jones was originally from the great state of Ohio. He recorded several top quality tracks that flew under the radar of popular radio during his career. Jones began his career with a doo-wop group in Chicago and then moved on to New York to work with the Hull/Mascot group where he produced several quality songs. From there Sammy moved on to Jenesis and crafted this superb uptown ballad "You've Got To Show Me." After a stint at Jenesis Sammy then made the jump to the Mercury Label.
