Cross Border Collaboration

"SVERIGE" is Swedish for "SWEDEN". I know this because I used to collect postage stamps as a kid ! But that is the country where our brother FLUX_IS_KRUX is from. FLUX is partial to Modern Soul dancers because it's cold in Sweden in winter and he needs to shuffle his feet to keep warm. So we decided to do a Northern European collaborative comp to show the Cali sunshine boys and girls that we knew what we were at when it comes to soul music. FLUX sent me 12 of his favorite tracks and I had the pleasure of trying to dream up 12 titles in response. You know the story by now; I call this a Single Cross. The tracks are in pairs; FLUX's pick and my response. Of course, I can't confine myself to any specific genre, so my picks are from across the board, although, to be fair, there's no Doo-Wop this time ! So, this comp is a little bit different from the normal fare served up on this site. But no harm in that I say !
