The Edwards Generation - The Street Thang (1976)

The Edwards Generation Was Led By Chuck Edwards. All Members Of The Band Were Family Members. For Instance Chucks Brothers, Children, And Nephews. Myron Edwins Played Bass On This Album, Sung Lead Vocals And Composed A Few Tracks, All At The Age Of 16. Released In 1976 on "Tight" Label, The LP Quickly Drifted Into Obscurity. It Would Remain the Only Full Length Lp They Released. Chuck Edwards Passed Away Around The Year 2000. But Many Of The Family Members Continue To Make Music To This Day.

The Highlights Of The Album Are "You're The One For Me" And "Starlite Starbrite". Some Of The Other Tracks Lean Toward The Funk Side, Especially The Drums. But Most Are Very Emotional Soul Songs. Enjoy
