When you have songwriters like Burt Bacharach, Dan Penn/Spooner Oldham and Curtis Mayfield penning your tracks, it's hard for a great singer like Patti to go wrong. The longevity of her career stands testimony to her talent, but from 1966 to 1969 she was possibly in her prime. So there are some great tracks here, such as "All Or Nothing" and "Wonderful". But the standout, in my humble opinion, is a B-side from 1966 - "I Need Your Love". I have to thank G MAN for re-introducing me to this one some months back and it has claimed its rightful place in my affections ever since. Hope you all enjoy that one and the rest of Patti's legacy as much as I do!Track List
