This uptempo soul gem was issued by MOTOWN in 1963. The talented MARY WELLS pushed this single all the way to #22 on the charts that year. Previous to this single Mary also charted the same year with "Laughing Boy" (US #15) and "Your Old Standby" (US #40). Again that same year after issuing "You Lost the Sweetest Boy" (US #22) she also charted "What's So Easy for Two Is So Hard for One" (US #29). 1963 was obviously one of MARY WELLS most successful in the music business.....what a great year for Mary.
