This album is similar to Dave Godin's Deep SouL Treasures cd series. The album was compiled by David Cole from the In The Basement Magazine. The two cd album is filled with superb mid-tempo songs and ballads.

  1. Any soul comp that includes the wonderful "Hell of a fix" by Marian Jarvis deserves some serious investigation.
    I'm really looking forward to these two cd's, thanks for the great share!

  2. You're welcome Ricardo. I did some quick research on Marian Jarvis and looks like she only put out 4 tracks in 74 and 75. The others were: Get It - 1974 & Penny For Your Thoughts & A Good Man To Wake Up To - 1975. It would be interesting to hear what the others sound like.
