The Chi-Lites are a Chicago based smooth soul vocal group led by vocalist Eugene Record. The Chi-Lites have a lush and airy sound distinguished by their four-part harmonies and layered productions. During the early 1970s, they racked up 11 Top 10 U.S. R&B singles including "Stoned Out Of My Mind" which reached #2 on the R&B chart and #30 on the Hot 100 chart.
