I'M SO GLAD I FOUND YOU - LINDA JONES AND THE WHATNAUTS

"I'm So Glad I Found You" is a cover version of the O'Jays classic belted out by one of soul's all time greatest female singers and the Baltimore's Whatnauts. Linda cut many classic tracks with Warner Brothers, Loma and Blue Cat. This song was produced by none other than George Kerr, who had his hand in a vast amount of northern soul hits. Near the end of her life Linda Jones created several sides for the Turbo Label and this sizzling track for the Stang Label in 1972. Sadly, Ms. Jones passed away the same year from diabetes at the early age of 27.

  1. Wow, unmistakably Linda. What a great version.

Chills running up and down my spine with her voice. You got any (I mean LOTS) of her at all?

    Thanks
