JOHNNY JOHNSON AND THE BANDWAGON MEET JAMES AND BOBBY PURIFY


James & Bobby Purify were an R&B singing duo, whose biggest hits were "I'm Your Puppet" in 1966, which reached #6 in the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart and #12 in the UK Singles Chart, and "Let Love Come Between Us" in 1967, which reached #23 in the U.S.

Johnny Johnson And The Bandwagon originally known simply as The Bandwagon, were formed in 1967 and featured Artie Fullilove, Billy Bradley, Terry Lewis and lead singer Johnny Johnson.[1] They had their first major UK hit in October 1968 with "Breakin' Down the Walls of Heartache", written by Sandy Linzer and Denny Randell, which reached number 4 on the UK Singles Chart.[2]

Johnny Johnson And The Bandwagon Meet James And Bobby Purify is an out of print limited edition cd that was released in 1997 through the European Marginal Label.   1. Thanks for this saw bandwagon years ago got breakdown the walls on direction label months before it hit the charts some of the other stuff was a bit poppy Thanks anyway it'll take me back
