G STYLE STORY VOLUME TWO



Included in this compilation is "I'm Gonna Tear Your Playhouse Down" by Ann Peebles. Peebles was a soul singer at Hi Records in the 60's and 70's. This song has the trademark Hi Records sound which was also found on her more successfull label mate Al Green's albums. Horns, funky rhytm guitar and breezy strings go perfectly with Ann's smooth, on beat soul.

    1.) The G STYLE STORY collection are my own comps that I made, you won't find those anywhere else but here....I can probably post some more of those in the future.
