ANTHONY WHITE - HEY BABY

Anthony White is an R&B singer born in Philadelphia, Pa. In 1975 he was signed to the Philadelphia International label. His 1st single released on that label was "Hey Baby". This is an uptempo groove with a very smooth style. After this single was released Anthony put out his only album in 1976 called "Could It Be Magic". Going forward Mr. White released one more single in 1977 and and additional one in 1989.

  1. I've heard of Anthony White for the first time on your blog, and I like his voice. I've read that he and one Paul Simpson have done a cover of David Ruffin's "Walk Away From Love." Any Chance you (or anyone who reads this) has that song?
I would love to hear that version of one of the most beautiful songs ever.

  2. BT thanx 4 visiting..

I've never been lucky enough to hear that one before by ANTHONY WHITE...sounds interesting. I love D. RUFFIN'S version...it's one killer cut.

I'll put the word out and see if there is anything I can come up with.
