BARBARA LYNN - 'Until Then I'll Suffer'

My Chi-Town girl Dusty Rose comes thru in the clutch with a dynamite album for the chosen few. These are recordings by one of Soul's most under-rated and understated voices. Barbara hits full stride with a great mix of underground classic soul cuts including "Until Then I'll Suffer", "To Get You Back Again", "This Is The Thanks I Get" and "You're Gonna Need Me." This album includes some heart-breaking versions of tracks like Brenton Wood's "I Like the Way You Love Me" and the Marvelettes' "Forever" plus a smooth cut cover of "Somebody Please."
